The AP LIBERTY® enclosure is a cost-effective, yet still high quality, fiber distribution hub (FDH).
It features a low-profile design, making it attractive for deployment in rural and/or residential applications. Don’t let its size fool you, though–it’s available in three varieties to serve 144¬/288, 432 or 576 homes from one cabinet.
The AP LIBERTY® has unique adapter/logistics-style patch panels. This helps facility rapid service provisions and reconfiguration in the field, while still allowing for non-propriety, industry-standard component use. It comes ready to go with wire management. It can also be pre-configured and tested with 50’ or 100’ pigtails, patch panels with adapters and optical splitters.
The cabinet can be pole or pad mounted. Either way, it’s built extra rugged with aircraft-grade aluminum, stainless hardware, a solar shield roof and powdercoating.
All in all, the AP LIBERTY® provides an extremely secure transition point from the passive optical network (PON) to the subscriber drop for pre-configured and/or patch-and-splice applications.
