American Story
For more than 36 years (1989–2025), American Products has proudly manufactured enclosures in the heartland of the United States. Founded as Champion Products in 1989, the company quickly built a reputation for quality and reliability. In 2002, American Products, LLC was officially established, expanding its capabilities in both indoor and outdoor enclosures.
Over the years, we have strengthened our expertise through strategic acquisitions, including DustShield in 2010 and a patent for the Nautilus below-grade enclosure in 2019. In 2016, American Products became part of Amprod Holdings, an umbrella that united enclosure and processing solutions, later joined by EnSight Solutions and Watson Metal Masters.
In 2022, American Products entered a new chapter when Koch Enterprises acquired Amprod Holdings – bringing additional resources and stability while preserving our foundation of integrity, craftsmanship, and trust.
